A Midsummer Serenade
On a warm summer night, NFAC came alive with music, stories, and laughter. Mozart, Beethoven, and Kodály sparkled in the hands of four extraordinary musicians, each performance both intimate and vibrant. Guests left calling it “a beautiful concert” and “a midsummer celebration of joy.”
Ron Delsener Presents
Ron Delsener Presents at NFAC
On August 7, NFAC welcomed a nearly sold-out audience for Ron Delsener Presents, followed by a lively conversation with Ron Delsener, director Jake Sumner, and moderator Josh Sapan. The film—featuring legends like Billy Joel, Patti Smith, Bruce Springsteen, and more—captivated the crowd, and the on-stage discussion kept the energy high. It was a night of nostalgia, laughter, and connection. Browse the slideshow to relive the evening.
Drop Dead City at NFAC
A nearly sold-out screening, a gripping look at New York City’s past, and an insightful Q&A with director Michael Rohatyn made Drop Dead City an unforgettable night at NFAC. Here’s how the film left its mark on our audience.
Inside the BarTur Photo Award at NFAC
Last month, NFAC welcomed visitors to the BarTur Photo Award exhibition, featuring photographers from 23 countries and a panel conversation with James Wellford (National Geographic), Kate Bubacz (Rest of World), and award founder Amnon Bar-Tur.
This exhibition is just one example of how NFAC is expanding the possibilities of what an arts center can be. Yes, we love great films, but we’re here to connect, deepen perspective, and build community through art in all its forms.
A Residency That Danced Across the North Fork: Brooklyn Ballet at NFAC
There’s something special about the moment when artists and audiences come together after a performance, when the lights come up, the applause fades, and the conversation begins. This residency was more than a performance! It was a living example of how art brings community together. We’re proud to have hosted Brooklyn Ballet at NFAC and to celebrate our one-year anniversary with this unforgettable collaboration.
Stories, Cinema, and Community: A Night with Bonnie Timmermann & Tony Goldwyn
On April 26, we welcomed two legendary figures in American film: casting director Bonnie Timmermann, whose career has launched some of Hollywood’s most recognizable names, and actor-director Tony Goldwyn, known for his iconic roles on screen and powerful work behind the camera. Together, they brought depth, humor, and heart to our screening of Bonnie, the documentary exploring Bonnie’s career and lasting legacy.
Oh What A Night…
Our Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party fundraiser was a dazzling success! Thanks to your incredible generosity, we raised over $100,000 toward our elevator project while honoring Joe McKay.
Guests arrived in red-carpet attire, enjoying signature cocktails, an impressive silent auction, and live entertainment throughout the evening. Special thanks to The Catered Fork for the delicious food, Clarkes Garden & Home for beautiful florals, and photographer David Benthal who captured the glamorous moments.

Circa 1934
This is the Greenport Theatre (aka The Metro, built in 1915) as it looked in 1934. The building has gone through many iterations, including major repairs after a Hurricane in 1938, and today we find ourselves on a mission to breathe new life into this historic theater once again.
