Our mission is to provide a welcoming cultural arts center where people of the North Fork community can come together to be entertained, educated, and inspired by world cinema, live performances, fine art exhibitions, lecture series, and hands-on arts training.

Programming beyond film

We’re committed to improving the quality of life in our community by promoting an appreciation for cultural arts, creativity, and critical thinking. Our programming extends far beyond the screen. Through dance, literature, arts education, and workforce training, we foster creativity, inspire audiences, and deepen community connections across the North Fork.

Support the Arts & Education

The North Fork Arts Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization formed in 2023 to preserve the historic Greenport Theatre after Josh Sapan generously offered to gift it, thus taking it off the real estate market for future development.

The possibilities to restore and reimagine this landmark theater are endless with your help.
