WRITING WORKSHOP • $100 (5 Classes) • Adults & Teens

You have at least three ideas for a nonfiction book for adult readers that you would like to write—but which one is the most promising? How do you turn it into a book proposal? Where would you send it?  Guided by Stephen Morrow, an experienced workshop leader with a passion for supporting first-time authors, this five-week class gives you the opportunity to present your ideas to the group then draft and redraft your book proposal. Everyone shares written comments on everyone’s written proposals, so there will be reading and writing homework each week.

IMPROV WORKSHOP • $275 (5 Classes + Class Show) • Ages 12-16

From the actors on SNL to the writers of countless TV shows and movies--Improv comedy is the secret weapon in any artist's toolbox. The ability to create scenes on the fly doesn't just stretch your creative muscles, it also improves confidence, communication, and listening skills for life. This intro class will teach you the fundamentals of improv through exercises that explore concepts like yes-and, world building, truth in comedy, and trusting your instincts in a safe, supportive atmosphere.

PUPPET CAMP • $400 (5 Classes) • Ages 7-12

PuppetED’s Puppet Camp is a joyful, five-day creative adventure where kids build, design, and perform with their very own puppets! Led by educator Dr. Carmen. Campos and her son, artist and puppeteer Marc Raul Sauvé, this immersive workshop blends hands-on puppet-making, character building, and performance—all leading up to a final puppet show for family and friends.

ACTING CLASS • $200 (4 Classes) • Ages 16 & UP

In this comprehensive workshop, you'll develop a strong and adaptable technique while working on monologues for school and professional opportunities, practice self-tape auditions including technical setup, learn strategies to stay relaxed and confident while making strong choices, and receive personalized feedback to refine your performances.  

MUSICAL THEATER CAMP • $375 (5 Classes) • Ages 7-12

Students will have the opportunity to use their voices, bodies and imaginations to learn how to storytell and create original theatre. Through acting activities and improvisation techniques, they will learn how to create a script, improve their literacy through writing, explore world building, and develop dynamic characters.

FILMMAKING • $200 (4 Classes) • Ages 14 & UP

Transform your iPhone footage into compelling stories in this hands-on filmmaking workshop. Perfect for beginners or intermediate filmmakers, you'll learn essential film language and editing techniques while creating your own short film using Adobe Premiere Pro. Over four immersive days, you'll master visual storytelling and shot composition, gain hands-on experience with professional editing techniques, and complete your own short film. Our small-group setting ensures you'll receive personalized feedback throughout the creative process.

COMIC BOOK ILLUSTRATION • $175 (2 Classes) • Ages 10 & UP

This dynamic two-day comics workshop with Dean Haspiel teaches participants the fundamentals of visual storytelling through hands-on exercises. Beginning with self-portrait warm-ups, students progress through character design, script development, and collaborative drawing exercises. Participants transform their ideas into finished one-page comics through practical application and group feedback, mastering essential skills from visual reduction techniques to panel layout, and leave with their own completed comic.
