RENIAS x OLA Event

Join us for a special evening at the North Fork Arts Center featuring a reception, a powerful Sundance-selected film, and a community conversation to follow.

At 7 PM, we’ll screen Reinas, a moving, visually rich film set in Lima during the tumultuous summer of 1992. As political and social unrest grows, three women, Lucía, Aurora, and their mother Elena, prepare to leave Peru. But before they go, they must face what they’re leaving behind: a fractured family, unresolved grief, and the complex emotions of departure. Reinas is a poignant, fast-paced coming-of-age story about love, loss, and the uncertain promise of change, told with the spirit and energy of the 1990s.

The evening begins with a reception at 6 PM, and continues after the film with a thoughtful discussion about its themes and resonance today.

100% of proceeds from this event will benefit OLA of Eastern Long Island, whose tireless work supports and uplifts our Latino community through arts, advocacy, and access.

Come share in an unforgettable night of film, conversation, and community impact.
