50th Anniversary of JAWS + Discussion with Pat Mundus

We're gonna need a bigger Theater!

Join us for a once-in-a-generation event celebrating the 50th Anniversary of JAWS — Steven Spielberg’s legendary 1975 film that changed Hollywood forever and made beachgoers everywhere a little more cautious. The screening is organized in conjunction with the East End Seaport Museum & Marine Foundation's exhibition Frank Mundus: The Man & the Monsters, which documents the legacy of the famous shark-hunter turned conservationist.

Following the screening, we’re thrilled to welcome Pat Mundus for a live Q&A. Pat is the daughter of the late Frank Mundus—Montauk’s infamous shark hunter and the real-life inspiration for Jaws’ unforgettable character, Quint. She’ll share firsthand stories of growing up at the edge of the sea with one of the ocean’s most notorious figures—and tales of sharks that are as thrilling as any blockbuster.

Whether you're a die-hard fan, a maritime buff, or just love a good fish tale, this is an evening you won’t want to miss.

Tickets are limited and proceeds will benefit both North Fork Arts Center and the East End Seaport Museum.

Make it a full evening out! We’ve partnered with Hellenic in East Marion, offering a special prix fixe menu exclusively for NFAC guests before the show. We recommend making reservations before 5:00 PM to allow plenty of time for a relaxed meal, travel to the theater, and parking.

To reserve, call 631-477-0138 and mention that you’re attending the NFAC event.

Here’s a look at the special prix fixe menu.
